Remote Work
Bscale is a remote-first company. We believe great work can happen from anywhere, and we've built our processes to support distributed teams.
Core principles
- Async by default — prefer written communication over meetings
- Overlap hours — be available during 10 AM - 2 PM in your time zone for synchronous collaboration
- Document everything — if it's not written down, it doesn't exist
- Trust and autonomy — we measure output, not hours
Communication guidelines
| Channel | Use for |
|---|---|
| Slack | Quick questions, social chat, real-time coordination |
| GitHub | Code discussions, technical decisions, PRs |
| Loom | Async demos, walkthroughs, context sharing |
| Google Meet | 1:1s, team syncs, workshops |
| External communication, formal announcements |
